We pride ourselves in providing the highest quality, friendly veterinary care for your best friends with the utmost integrity. Our team members participate in weekly training, monthly staff meetings and periodic continuing education classes, seminars and courses each year.




Shannon R. Wisenbarger  Practice Manager/Veterinary Technician

Shannon previously worked in Grove City at Broadway Veterinary Hospital between May 1993 and December 2007 and then moved with the doctors and some staff members to Concord Chapel Animal Hospital.She graduated from Northern Virginia Community College with an Associates degree in Animal Science/Veterinary Technician. She became a licensed veterinary technician both in Virginia and Ohio. Shannon also achieved a B.S. degree in Animal Science in 1999 from The Ohio State University.

She has worked in the veterinary field since 1984, and her experience has been invaluable as Shannon knows the inner workings of our hospital better than anybody.Shannon stays busy keeping up with her Miniature Schnauzer, Logan, involved in obedience and agility trials, two cats (Huckleberry and Ozzy), and a yellow-naped Amazon parrot named Zach.Shannon lives in Grove City with her husband, Roger, and their sons, William and Nicholas. She enjoys outdoor activities, swimming and spending time with her family and pets. Shannon keeps a positive attitude, excels under pressure and helps create a very efficient working environment.


Mary Aliff  Veterinary Assistant and Veterinary Receptionist

Mary has been in the veterinary field since 2002. Mary is a "Jack of all trades" type of person and does well with every task she is given.  She can be found checking in your furry family member as a receptionist at the front desk.  You may also find her performing multiple tasks in the treatment area of the hospital or taking appoints.  This is where she really excels, working with the animals and their owners to provide optimal patient care. In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, and reading.  Mary shares her life with two wonderful dogs and two adorable cats. 

 Mackenzie McKnight  Veterinary Assistant

Mackenzie McKnight is currently working at Concord Chapel as a veterinary assistant with the goal of becoming a veterinarian. She has a passion for working with animals and enjoys getting to know their owners. When she is not working, she is a student. Mackenzie also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, participating in church activities at Grove City Church of the Nazarene, and watching ice hockey. Mackenzie is also skilled in American Sign Language and is happy to put it into practice whenever she can. Mackenzie has a German Shepherd named Padme who loves to play.



Becky Fisher  Veterinary Technician

Becky graduated from Columbus State Community College with a Veterinary Technician degree in March 2007 and a Bachelors of Science in Agriculture from The Ohio State University in 1982.  Becky brings a lot of veterinary experience with her, having worked in the field for 30 years, mostly as a veterinary assistant and animal caretaker. Eighteen of those 30 years were spent working for the OSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital. 

Becky lives with her husband Jim and they are "owned" by their two cats, Amber and Hazel.  She enjoys reading, needle work, and watching movies with her husband.

Becky is very gentle and caring. She does a great job taking care of our patients and our clients.



Katherine Gibson  Veterinary Technician

Katherine realized that she wanted a career helping animals when she was in the second grade.She graduated from Columbus State with a Veterinary Technology Associate Degree of Applied Science.Her family includes her husband, Ethan, daughter Kaydence and their dogs; Graham and Major, two turtles, two rats, a 50 gallon fish tank and two female cats, named Mike and Jo.Katherine enjoys quilting, reading and volunteering with church activities.

Katherine keeps the surgery room in order and pays great attention to details.

Sarah Hogan Receptionist

Sarah is an integral part of the Receptionist team and one of the newer faces at Concord Chapel. Sarah was born and raised in Grove City and is the daughter of our very own Wanda Hogan-Aycock. She is a 2009 Grove City High School graduate and is now a Junior at Ohio Dominican University majoring in Psychology.  Sarah is also a member of the Ohio Dominican Color Guard.  When she is not taking classes, working, or practicing with the Color Guard, Sarah loves spending time with her Boxer mix, Anastasia and cat, Meeko.   



Wanda Hogan-Aycock  Receptionist

Wanda is one of the friendly faces you will see at the front desk. Always willing to lend a helping hand, Wanda has been working at Concord Chapel Animal Hospital since 2006. She also worked at Concord Chapel's previous location on Broadway in Grove City for several years as well.Wanda graduated from Ohio Dominican University with a degree in business and has owned her own business for 19 years. She uses her business experience to keep the front desk running smoothly.Wanda is very active in the community and is involved in the teen bible study program and the preschool coordinator at her church.

In her spare time, she enjoys scrapbooking, camping, walking and reading a great book.  Above all this, Wanda enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris, her three daughters, Sarah, Jessica, and Heather and her furred and feathered family including one parakeet (Tinkerbell), three cats (Benson, Magiera, and Meeko) and two dogs (Rocky and Ana). Wanda and her family have lived in Grove City, Ohio since 1998.


Laura Ledbetter  Receptionist 

She is a former high school science teacher with a degree in biology and botany and a masters in curriculum instruction. When she's not smiling and making our clients comfortable here, she enjoys being a wife and mom and spending time with friends and family.  Laura loves crocheting, knitting, working out and gardening.  Laura lives in 
Grove City with her husband Jeff, daughters Layle, Lydia and Lexi and their dogs, Aramis and Dart, one bird and their cat, Madison.

Laura is a conscientious team member who is self motivated and goes above and beyond, even helping clean kennels when needed.
Bridgette Moritz Veterinary Assistant/Veterinary Student (Picture to follow)
 
Bridgette is one of our newest team members.  She is originally from Illinois where she graduated in 2007 from Lockport Township High School.  She then moved on to graduate from the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio with a BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Prior to starting veterinary school, Bridgette actively competed with her horse, Farid, in Dressage for 9 years. Bridgette is currently a secondary year veterinary student at The Ohio State University.  She is a member of OVMA, SCAVMA, SCAAEP, and OSU's Equine Club.  In her spare time, Bridgette enjoys reading, running, watching movies, and riding horses.  Besides Farid, she has 3 dogs (Lucy, Oreo, and Dexter) and 1 cat (Ditto).



Erin Neer 
Veterinary Technician

Erin has always had a strong passion for the care and well being of animals for as long as she can remember.  and she finally decided to make this her career. She graduated from Columbus State as a Veterinary Technician in March of 2011.  At home she has two dogs, Seven and Roscoe, and her three cats Henry, Pikachu, and Phoebe.  In her spare time she likes taking her dogs on long walks, hiking, camping, reading, and just spending time with friends and family.
 
Cindy Luhring  Veterinary Technician/Behavior Consultant

Cindy Luhring has been working as a technician and behavioral consultant at Concord Chapel Animal Hospital since 2008. Ten years prior to working for us, she honed her skills at Upper Arlington Veterinary Hospital. She has become an indispensable leader among the hospital staff as well as a mentor to the less experienced staff members. Cindy makes all of the pets and their parents feel comfortable and loved. She has put her skill as a behavioral consultant to good use by starting puppy classes to help with basic training, prevention of common phobias and separation anxieties, and leash training. She has also started behavior consultations to work with our clients and patients on behavior modification for common behavior problems.

Cindy hails from Defiance, OH but has lived in the Columbus area for the past 16 years. She lives with her 2 cats Wyle E. and Dodger as well as her 2 dogs Peanut and Opie.

Cindy is a very active person who loves to play most sports but basketball and baseball are her favorites. She spends most of her spare time walking her dogs (as well as all the other canines she is dog sitting). She has been known to pick a park in Ohio on her day off and spend it hiking with her dogs.
